The Hairdressing Course offered by YSA Hair & Beauty College is specifically designed to produce skilled, professional, and competent graduates to meet the growing demands of the hairdressing industry.
This programme emphasises a strong combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training, covering both basic and advanced techniques such as hair cutting, shampooing, colouring, perming, straightening, and customised hair treatments based on client needs.
Students will also gain knowledge in scalp care, the use of professional hair products, salon equipment management, as well as safety, hygiene, and salon standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with industry requirements. The course is developed in line with current industry standards and follows a syllabus accredited by the Department of Skills Development (JPK), Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia.
With guidance from experienced instructors and direct practical training in YSA’s professional salon environment, students will be well-prepared to enter the workforce or pursue entrepreneurship by opening their own hair salon upon graduation.

The Barbering Course at YSA Hair & Beauty College is designed to equip students with the essential skills required to become professional barbers in today’s dynamic hair industry. This intensive 3-month programme focuses on practical hands-on training while also providing the necessary theoretical knowledge to excel in barbering.
Students will learn a variety of barbering techniques including hair cutting, trimming, shaving, styling, and beard grooming, along with professional use of barbering tools and products. The course also covers client consultation, hygiene practices, and workplace safety, preparing students for real-world salon and barber shop environments.
With guidance from experienced instructors and practice in a professional setting, students will gain the confidence and competence needed to start a career in barbering or pursue entrepreneurship by opening their own barber shop.

The Bridal Masterclass is an apprenticeship-based programme designed for aspiring bridal makeup artists. It combines intensive practical training with essential theoretical knowledge, preparing students to excel in the wedding and event industry.
Practical Training: 70% hands-on experience, allowing students to master bridal makeup techniques in real-world settings
Theory: 30% focused on foundational knowledge, including colour theory, skin analysis, product selection, and client consultation
Programme Outcome: Graduates will be confident in creating flawless bridal looks, managing clients, and understanding professional standards required in bridal and event makeup artistry
